  • Bonds issued by the IDA may have a lower interest rate than conventional financing.
  • Using IDA bonds may also enable you to borrow at fixed rates, and for longer terms.
  • IDA bonds provide companies with exemptions for New York State Taxes.
  • Qualified projects financed by IDA bonds are exempt from New York State mortgage recording taxes and New York State sales and use taxes.
  • Projects financed with IDA bonds are eligible for real property tax abatements.
