Benedictine Hospital now provides local residents with comprehensive cancer care close to home and family.
The UCIDA-approved project provided for $5.3 million that was used for site development, construction of the Cancer Care Center and renovations to connect the new building to the old one.
This facility houses the latest technologies in cancer detection and treatment available today, making it unnecessary for area residents to travel great distances to receive the highest quality care.
The Center not only brings substantial quality of life benefits to the region, it also adds employment in one of the fastest growing job sectors of our economy.
