A Bright Light Shines in Highland

A manufacturer of interior and exterior lighting for projects throughout North America, Selux has produced lighting for noteworthy architectural projects, including the new Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston, New York City’s 7 World Trade, and the Getty Museum in Los Angeles. Most recently SELUX delivered interior and exterior fixtures (worth over $7 million dollars) for the prestigious KAUST (King Abdullah University of Science & Technology) in Thuwal, Saudi Arabia. With $2.6 million in tax exempt bonds issued through the UCIDA, Selux added on 12,800 square feet to include state-of-the-art fabrication and assembly facilities and showrooms.

Energy efficiency, optimum light quality, sustainable materials and protection of the environment are the major focus for SELUX. It is the quality of the manufacturing and the adaptability of the design that has most ensured the company's success. From its MTR refractor technology, introduced in the mid-1980s, to its lines of both Dark-Sky compliant and solar-powered fixtures, to the most recent LED developments, SELUX's technological and environmental leadership has made it the go-to manufacturer for many designers.

All products using the brand name Se'lux are manufactured by its unionized workforce in its plant in Highland, NY.
